The first Oriel Talks event of this academic year, on the theme of “The Material Things…”, will take place on Tuesday 18th October (2nd week) in the Harris Lecture Theatre. 

Attendees will hear three talks on the theme of "The Material Things..." which will explore the fascinating world of superconductors, ask if a text could change the weather and delve deep into the earth on the trail of ancient earthquakes!
